Torino have officially brought Nikola Vlasic back permanently from West Ham United after agreeing a transfer fee for circa €12m.

The Serie A side announced it with a video asking: ‘Guess who’s back?’

The 25-year-old had spent last season with the Granata on loan, contributing five goals and six assists in 34 Serie A appearances.

He repeatedly stated that he wanted to make the move stick, but negotiations dragged on with Toro insisting they could not afford the figures demanded by the Hammers.

The two clubs finally managed to strike an agreement at €12m this week and his contract with Toro will now run to June 2027, with a salary set at €2m per season.

Vlasic started his career at Hajduk Split, moving on through Everton and CSKA Moscow, with a transfer to West Ham in the summer of 2021 for €30m.

He has 50 senior caps for Croatia, in which he scored seven goals and provided three assists.
