“Naturally, I want to dedicate my first thoughts to President Enrico Preziosi and everyone at Genoa, with affection and gratitude.
“I chose and wanted Toro because football for me is joy and pure passion, so to play for such an important club for fans who are so fiery and attached to their team, is an honour that brings with it a great deal of responsibility.
“I am very happy and fired up, so I’ll give all of myself to always be up to the standards of the situation.”
It is a reunion with Coach Walter Mazzarri, who first worked with him at the Napoli Primavera youth team.
