Torino have officially confirmed the signing of wing-back Valentino Lazaro on a permanent transfer from Inter, having spent the 2022-23 season on loan with the Granata.

It is believed that Torino have had to pay the Nerazzurri a fee of €4m plus a 10% sell-on clause for Lazaro, who had one year remaining on his contract at San Siro. The Austria international has now signed a four-year deal, which will run until the summer of 2027.

The 26-year-old only made six appearances for Inter in Serie A during his four-year stay, but did spend most of that time out on loan with spells at Newcastle, Borussia Moenchengladbach, Benfica and most recently with Torino.

He had previously represented Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga for two years, having joined from RB Salzburg in 2017.

Lazaro is expected to take the place of Wilfried Stephane Singo, who left the club to join AS Monaco last week.
