Torino have officially announced Ivan Juric has signed a three-year contract to become their new head coach ahead of 2021-22.

The Granata have moved quickly to secure a new coach after having reached safety in the penultimate game of the 2020-21 season.

Davide Nicola helped Torino stay up but has not managed to convince the patron to continue in charge.

Ivan Juric has spent the last two seasons with Hellas Verona and followed up the ninth place from 2019-20 with another top half position this term.

After securing 10th in Serie A with the Gialloblu, the Croatian has moved on to take over at the Grande Torino and the Granata have officially announced his arrival.

“Torino Football Club is pleased to announce that from July 1, 2021, the management of the first team will be entrusted to Mr. Ivan Juric,” the club wrote in a statement.
