Official: Serie A referees appointed for Week 5, including Milan vs. Napoli

Referees for Serie A Week 5 have been appointed, with Daniele Chiffi in charge of Milan-Napoli on Sunday.

AIA, the Italian Association of Referees, has named the match officials for the upcoming Serie A round, starting on Saturday, August 27, with Como-Cremonese.

Marco Di Bello, one of the most experienced Italian referees, has been appointed for the Lombard Derby, while Simone Sozza will oversee Juventus-Atalanta after a positive performance in the Rome derby last week.

Another derby, Pisa-Fiorentina on Sunday, will be officiated by Gianluca Manganiello.

The big game of the weekend is Milan-Napoli, and the referee appointed for the San Siro showdown is 40-year-old Chiffi.
