Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi has officially joined Sampdoria on loan in a bid for more playing time.
The 26-year-old Italian midfielder has only made 12 appearances across all competitions this season under coach Simone Inzaghi, making only one Serie A start. He missed seven games at the start of the campaign with a medial collateral ligament injury and never managed to make an impression on the Italian coach after recovering.
As seen on Lega Serie A’s website, Sampdoria have officially deposited Sensi’s contract, signing him on a six-month dry loan deal, meaning that he’ll return to Inter at the end of the season. Neither club has officially announced the deal yet, but these are expected to arrive later today.
Sensi is an important reinforcement for coach Marco Giampaolo, who is working to guide the Ligurian side far away from the relegation zone. They currently sit three points ahead of 18th place Cagliari.

Good luck to one of the most talented midfielders in Europe! His place is in Barsa.
Will be beautiful to watch Sampdoria with Candreva and Sensi at first 11. Only I wish Sensi won’t be injured.
Great player. I hope he can get back to his best soon.
That means Morton Thorsby is coming to Inter soon
