Stefano Sensi has officially joined the newly promoted Monza on a season-long loan deal.

The 26-year-old Italian midfielder is hoping to find regular first team football with Silvio Berlusconi’s team following difficult outing last campaign. Sensi struggled for minutes under Simone Inzaghi last campaign and joined Sampdoria on loan in January, where he scored one goal before ending the campaign with a muscle injury.

As announced by Monza, Sensi has joined the club on a season-long dry loan deal, where he hopes to relaunch his career following an injury-struck few years.

The Italian midfielder’s start with the Nerazzurri was incredibly exciting as he scored three goals and provided four assists in his first six games. In his seventh game he suffered a muscle injury that would ultimately go on to haunt him and derail his time in Lombardy. Now he’ll be hoping to recapture that magic with the newly promoted side.
