Former Milan and Inter midfielder Clarence Seedorf has been officially confirmed as the new Deportivo La Coruna Coach.

The Dutchman had a brief spell on the Rossoneri bench after his retirement, but wasn’t kept on beyond the end of the 2013-14 season.

Today it has been confirmed he’ll continue his coaching career in Spain, with the side currently lying 18th in La Liga.

“Dutch coach Clarence Clyde Seedorf has this afternoon become coach of Real Club Deportivo for the remainder of the season,” a statement on the club’s website confirmed.

“Seedorf will be presented this afternoon at 8:15 p.m. in the press room of the Abanca-Riazor Stadium.

“Clarence Seedorf arrives with coach Valerio Fiori.”
