Sampdoria have confirmed that striker Patrik Schick will not be joining Juventus on “mutual” grounds.
Reports emerged on Tuesday evening that Juve had backed out of their €25m deal to sign Schick, but Samp have since announced that the decision was taken by both clubs.
“UC Sampdoria and Juventus FC both announce that it was mutually agreed not to finalise the transfer of player Patrik Schick,” read a statement on the Blucerchiati’s official website.
