Stefan Savic’s move from Fiorentina to Atletico Madrid was officially confirmed late on Monday night after a medical.
Midfielder Mario Suarez appears set to go the other way as part of the deal, and Atleti confirmed the move last night following the Montenegrin defender’s medical.
The 24-year-old has signed a five-year deal and although no fee has been confirmed, Spanish outlet Marca believes the price was €12m plus Suarez.

“We are very satisfied with the agreement because Stefan is a player with huge potential and a great future,” said sporting director Jose Luis Caminero.
“He’s quick and strong and has experience, despite his youth, after playing in major Leagues such as Serbia, England and Italy. I’m convinced he will bring a lot to the team.”
