Sassuolo have announced that defender Mauricio Lemos will spend another season on loan from Las Palmas.
Lemos spent the second half of last season at Sassuolo, and a statement on their official website confirmed his loan had been extended.
It comes despite the Neroverdi reportedly having a €6m purchase option for the Uruguayan.

The 21-year-old made eight Serie A appearances for the Neroverdi last term as they comfortably avoided relegation, whereas his parent club dropped into Spain’s second tier.
