Sampdoria have completed the signing of defender Gian Marco Ferrari from Sassuolo on a season-long loan.
A statement on Samp’s official website also confirmed their loan for Ferrari included an option to buy next summer, plus a counter-option for Sassuolo.
The 25-year-old played a key role in Crotone’s great escape last season, missing just one Serie a game.
He will try to fill the void left by Milan Skriniar, who joined Inter earlier in the summer.
