Sampdoria have officially signed Danish left-back Simon Poulsen from AZ Alkmaar.
The club website released a statement this evening confirming a contract had been signed with the 27-year-old who is out of contract.
The deal is still pending a medical, which will take place on Monday morning in Genoa.
