Roma have officially announced the arrival of talented left back Samuel Dahl from Djurgarden on a definitive transfer.

The 21-year-old full back shined in the Allsvenskan last season, being considered one of the best in his role in the division, and earnt his call-up to the Sweden national team, making his debut in a 2-1 friendly win over Estonia in January.

Roma coach Daniele De Rossi highlighted his need for a reliable backup for Angelino and pushed the club to move forward for Samuel Dahl, appreciating his impressive development with Djurgarden, where he provided six assists across 37 matches.

As officially announced today, Roma have completed the signing of Samuel Dahl after agreeing to pay Djurgarden around €4m plus €2m in add-ons. He landed in the Italian capital on Friday to undergo his medicals and complete the move.

The 21-year-old talent, who is the 13th Swede to represent the Giallorossi, will wear the number 26 shirt.
