Patrik Schick has completed his transfer from Roma to Bayer Leverkusen for €26.5m plus 10 per cent of any future sale.

The striker spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig, but they would not activate their option to buy at the agreed price.

Former Sampdoria forward Schick had his medical today and was announced in the evening.

“The club can confirm that forward Patrik Schick has today completed a permanent move to German club Bayer Leverkusen,” read a Roma statement.

“The club can confirm that forward Patrik Schick has today completed a permanent move to German club Bayer Leverkusen,” read a Roma statement.

“The Czech Republic international joins Leverkusen for an initial fee of €26.5 million.

“As part of the agreement, Roma will retain the right to 10% of the profit from any future sale of the player.

“Schick, 24, joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2017 – going on to score eight goals in 58 appearances in all competitions for the club.

“The forward spent the 2019-20 season on loan at RB Leipzig, where he scored 10 goals in 28 games for the Bundesliga side.

“The club would like to wish Schick the best of luck for his new adventure in Germany.”

Schick was signed from Sampdoria in 2017, on loan with obligation to buy for €42m.
