Official: Roma loan USMNT talent Reynolds to Kortrijk

Roma have officially loaned United States international Bryan Reynolds to Belgian side KV Kortrijk.

The full-back is on a dry loan until June 30, so there is no option to buy at the end of the season.

Reynolds was purchased from FC Dallas in February 2021 for €7.75m, but made only eight official appearances in the Giallorossi jersey.

The 20-year-old was one of the players frozen out by coach Jose Mourinho following the disastrous 6-1 Europa League defeat to Bodo/Glimt in October.

That was his final appearance for Roma, and the only real game he played this season, along with two substitute cameos in the final minute against Trabzonspor in August and Sassuolo in September.

Belgium had seemed the likely destination for Reynolds, who had also been linked with RSC Anderlecht and Club Brugge.

The right-back already has two senior caps for the USMNT.
