Roma have officially sent Justin Kluivert to OGC Nice on loan for €1m with an option to buy for €14m.

The Dutch international had spent last season on loan in Germany with RB Leipzig, but they did not take up their option to make the deal permanent.

Now the Giallorossi hope that he will convince Nice enough during his season-long loan spell.

Once again, it is a loan with option to buy at the end of the season, which Sky Sport Italia reports is worth €14m.

Nice are paying €1m in order to have the 22-year-old on loan for the 2021-22 campaign.

His contract with the Giallorossi only runs to June 2023, but Roma do have a clause allowing them to extend by another year in case this experience in France also fails to earn a permanent transfer.
