Former Milan, Fiorentina and Besiktas forward Ante Rebic has returned to Serie A, signing on as a free agent for Lecce.
The Croatia international will turn 31 next month and has 42 senior caps under his belt.
He spent most of his career in Italy, first arriving at Fiorentina in 2013, then going on to play for Hellas Verona and Milan.
There were also spells in Germany for RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt, but Milan wanted his wages off the books and sold him for a minimal fee in the summer of 2023, allowing him to join Besiktas.
The move to Turkey did not work out and that too was cut short by mutual consent.
This evening, Rebic put pen to paper on a contract with Serie A side Lecce as a free agent.
The Croatian has amassed 118 Serie A appearances during his career, scoring 29 goals and providing 14 assists.
He plays primarily as a left-sided winger, but can also work in a more central attacking role.
