Ante Rebic has joined Milan on a two-year loan deal from Eintracht Frankfurt, with Andre Silva going the other way, but no options to buy.

Both clubs announced the news several hours after the medicals and Rebic’s contract had been deposited with the Lega Serie A.

It had been thought of as a one-year loan with option to buy at the end of the season for €25m.

However, the statements show these are both two-season loan deals with no options to buy.
