Aaron Ramsey has officially joined Scottish side Rangers on loan from Juventus.

The 31-year-old Welsh midfielder has struggled for consistent minutes this season after suffering a variety of muscle injuries, which have kept him mostly sidelined. He has made five appearances across all competitions, for a total of 112 minutes, barely finding time on the pitch.

As announced by Rangers, Ramsey has joined the Scottish side on a loan deal with a buy option attached from Juventus.

The Scottish side will cover a portion of the Welshman’s hefty €7m net per season wages, an important contribution for the Bianconeri, who have been desperate to offload the former Arsenal midfielder.

Ramsey declined a number of offers from the Premier League and there were fears in Turin that a move would not be completed this month, before Rangers managed to convince the Welshman of the move.

He will be hoping for regular playing time ahead of Wales’ World Cup qualifier play-off match against Austria on March 24.

  1. I think Ramsey was the HIGHEST PAID British player ever! Just unbelievable. And when you consider he scored just 5 goals in 2 years, I think he got paid around 5 million per goal. Biggest waste of money ever and I hope Juventus have learned their lesson. Stop paying losers like Ramsey and Rabiot huge salaries.
Maybe when Dybala (excellent servant) leaves because the club have no money for wages, the final punishment for this madness will be received.

  2. No worries, he`ll be back in June as Rangers cannot afford that INSANE salary + 3M/year agent commission LOL
