A statement now confirms that Paul Pogba has been provisionally suspended after failing a doping test after Juventus played against Udinese in Serie A on August 20.

The news emerged this afternoon from agency ANSA that Pogba had failed a doping test, which was taken after the 3-0 Serie A victory away to Udinese in the opening round of the season.

The France international was on the bench throughout that match, but was still one of those randomly selected to undergo the tests.

He was found to have elevated levels of testosterone in his blood test and the next step is for the B Sample to also be analysed, in order to confirm the positive result.

The midfielder has been provisionally suspended as per protocol ahead of the B Sample test.

Pogba came off the bench in the last two Serie A rounds for the matches against Bologna and Empoli.

  1. Solid throwback to how they win thr cmapuons league back in the day. Marseille did the same thing against Mulan in 93.

Sadly, both club disgracefully retain their ill-gotten honors…
