Tommaso Pobega has officially joined Bologna from Milan on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.

Bologna have confirmed the signing of Tommaso Pobega from Milan. The Italian midfielder moves to the Stadio Dall’Ara on loan with an option to buy.

Sky Sport Italia has reported that Bologna’s option to buy in 2025 is worth €12m. 

It remains to be seen if Pobega will be available for the upcoming Serie A game against Napoli at the Stadio Maradona tomorrow.

Official: Pobega joins Bologna from Milan

A former Spezia and Torino midfielder, Pobega has 12 goals and six assists in 83 Serie A appearances.

He already played under Vincenzo Italiano at Spezia, contributing to the Aquile’s Serie A survival in 2020-21.

Pobega has made 43 appearances with Milan, scoring three goals with the Rossoneri.

The 25-year-old midfielder made his senior Italy debut in May 2022 under Roberto Mancini and has three appearances with the Azzurri.

His contract at San Siro runs out in June 2027.
