Milan have officially announced the arrival of defender Strahinja Pavlovic from RB Salzburg on a definitive transfer with a contract to 2028, plus option for another year.

The 23-year-old Serbian centre back attracted the attention of the Rossoneri following his impressive season in Austria, where he scored four goals and provided three assists across 37 appearances, seeing over 3200 minutes of action.

Pavlovic arrived in the Lombardy capital on Tuesday and was seen having dinner with Milan director Geoffrey Moncada in the evening after carrying out his medicals with the club, ready to complete his transfer from RB Salzburg.

Milan sign Pavlovic

As officially announced today, Pavlovic has now signed for Milan on a definitive transfer from RB Salzburg, putting pen to paper on a four-year contract understood to be worth around €1.5m net per season plus add-ons.

The Rossoneri have agreed to pay the Austrian side a fixed €18m plus add-ons for the 23-year-old defender, who’ll partner Fikayo Tomori in Paulo Fonseca’s defence.

He will wear the Number 31 jersey.

His arrival allows a move to be made for Malick Thiaw, who has been heavily linked with Newcastle United.
