A statement on Palermo’s official website read: “Daniela De Angeli and Sporting Network SRL announce that the transfer of ownership was formalised today, of the shares of Palermo Football Club SPA, sole shareholder of US Citta di Palermo SPA.
“The Press conference for the presentation of the new owners will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2019 at 12:00 (11:00 BST) at the Mondello Palace Hotel.
“All clarifications relating to this recently-concluded transaction will be provided there.”
The Rosanero’s new President will be Alessandro Albanese, with Fabrizio Lucchesi filling the role of general manager.
It marks the end of Maurizio Zamparini’s 17-year tenure as the club’s owner, amidst a string of failed takeovers.
Palermo must win their two remaining Serie B games to have a chance of automatic promotion and recently re-appointed Delio Rossi as Coach.
