Udinese have signed Daniele Padelli on a free transfer from Inter and the 35-year-old returns to the Dacia Arena on a two-year deal.

The goalkeeper’s contract with the Nerazzurri expires in June 2021 and Padelli will not continue at San Siro.

The veteran only played one Serie A game in 2020-21 and has decided to re-join Udinese, where he spent two seasons between 2011 and 2013.

Padelli only played four League games during his four-year stint at Inter but has further experience in the top flight from his time with Bari and Torino.

“It’s with great pleasure that Udinese Calcio announce the return of Daniele Padelli to the Bianconeri,” the club wrote in a statement.

“The goalkeeper has signed a contract that ties him to the club until June 30, 2023.”
