This afternoon Novara announced the arrival of two new players to strengthen the squad.

Striker Meggiorini spent his last couple of seasons at Bari and Bologna, but is still owned by Genoa.

He has been loaned to Novara with an option to buy at the end of the season.

The newly-promoted team also signed winger Mazzarani on loan with an option to buy from Udinese.

The 22-year-old was in Serie B with Modena last season, scoring nine goals in 37 games.
