Nico Gonzalez has extended his contract with Fiorentina until June 2028.
The Tuscans announced the winger’s contract extension with an official statement on Tuesday.
“ACF Fiorentina is delighted to announce that Nicolas Gonzalez has signed a new contract with the club until 30 June 2028,” said the club.
“The Viola No.10 has so far amassed 88 Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Conference League appearances for Fiorentina, scoring 26 goals in the process. Gonzalez also has 26 caps and five goals for Argentina.”
The 25-year-old moved to Fiorentina in a €24m deal from Stuttgart in 2021.
He had received offers from Leicester City and Brentford FC over the last year but the winger and the club rejected offers from England.
The Argentina international has four goals and one assist in seven appearances across all competitions this season.
