Giovanni Simeone has completed a permanent transfer to Napoli after a one-year spell at the Stadio Maradona.
The Serie A champions have confirmed Simeone’s permanent transfer with a statement on their official website.
“SSC Napoli are pleased to confirm that Giovanni Simeone has now been signed permanently from Hellas Verona on a contract running until 30 June 2026. The club holds an option to extend the agreement for a further year, until 30 June 2027,” said the Partenopei.
Napoli had spent €3m for the player’s loan and paid a further €12m to sign El Cholito permanently.
Simeone scored nine goals in 33 appearances across all competitions in 2022-23.
