Napoli confirm the signing of Italy international Alessandro Buongiorno from Torino.
Napoli have completed the signing of Buongiorno from Torino, the Partenopei said in an official statement on Saturday morning.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis also welcomed the Italian centre-back with a post on X, formerly Twitter.
Several sources say the transfer is worth €35m plus €5m add-ons, while Buongiorno has signed a contract until 2029 worth €2.5m per season.
His contract includes a €70m clause valid from his third season at the club.
Buongiorno will join his teammates in Dimaro only in the coming days. He’s still on holiday, having participated in Euro 2024 with Italy, although he spent all four games on the bench.
Buongiorno is Napoli’s third signing after Leonardo Spinazzola and Rafa Marin.
The Italian left-back joined the Partenopei on a free transfer after the end of his Roma contract, while Marin completed a permanent move from Real Madrid.

What a miracle! That makes approximately 30 Italian players in Seria A.
What a shame!
