Atalanta have officially announced the arrival of Juan Musso from Udinese on a four-year deal.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper has signed a deal with Atalanta until June 2025 and moves from Udinese for a reported €20m.

The Friuli signed Musso in July 2018 and the Argentine has impressed since he arrived in Serie A, with 102 appearances in the Italian top flight.

Musso then made his debut with Argentina on March 26, 2019, in a 1-0 win over Morocco and he was called up for the Copa America this summer.

“Juan Mussi is a new Atalanta player,” the club wrote in a statement. “Welcome Juan!!”

Musso had been linked with other Serie A teams, such as Inter, but Atalanta have swooped to sign the former Racing Club player.

The Orobici finished third in Serie A 2020-21 and are thus preparing for their third consecutive appearance in the Champions League next season.
