Official moves: Piccoli to Verona, Carboni to Monza

Hellas Verona have officially signed Roberto Piccoli from Atalanta on loan, while Monza purchased Andrea Carboni from Cagliari.

The Serie A transfer window is in full swing with the opening of the structure in Rimini today.

Verona announced they have brought in striker Piccoli on a one-season loan from Atalanta.

The 21-year-old centre-forward is a product of the Atalanta youth academy, who had loan experiences at Spezia and most recently Genoa.

Meanwhile, newly-promoted Monza announced they have purchased defender Carboni outright from Cagliari.

Also 21, the centre-back is from the island of Sardinia and already has 52 Serie A appearances under his belt.

He has signed a contract with Monza until June 2027 and it’s reported the deal is worth €4m plus bonuses and a percentage of the sell-on fee.
