Alvaro Morata is officially a Juventus player after completing his medical in a €20m deal with Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old striker flew in to Turin last night and passed all his tests this morning before sitting down to sign the five-year contract.
Juve released a statement confirming the transfer is worth €20m to be paid over three instalments, so more than the expected €18m.
Real Madrid have a buy-back clause in the deal allowing them to take back Morata either at the end of the 2015-16 or 2016-17 campaign.
The cost of the clause depends on how many games Morata plays in a Juventus jersey, but will be up to a maximum of €30m.
Again, this is lower than the oft-reported sum of €35m.
