Cristian Brocchi and Monza have terminated their agreement ‘by mutual consent,’ with the Serie B side ready to appoint Giovanni Stroppa as their new coach.

Monza announced the coach’s exit with an official statement.

“Monza and Cristian Brocchi announce to have terminated our agreement by mutual consent,” it reads.

“Monza thank Brocchi for his passionate work and wish him the best for the future of his career.”

Brocchi was eliminated from the Serie B playoffs at the hands of Cittadella and according to Calciomercato.com, former Milan player and Crotone coach Giovanni Stroppa is ready to replace him from the following season.

The outlet reports Crotone striker Simy tops Stroppa’s shopping list at the U-Power Stadium.
