Milan have officially signed Uruguay left-back Diego Laxalt from Genoa for a reported €18m.
Serie A’s official website confirmed Milan had deposited Laxalt’s contract on Thursday.
The 24-year-old passed his medical 24 hours earlier, and MilanNews reports he began training the following morning.
Laxalt, who began his Serie A career with Inter in 2013, scored eight goals and assisted 12 in 117 appearances for Genoa.
As well as being a left-back, he can also play at left wingback or on the left of a trident attack.
