Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Turkish talent Arda Güler who had been linked with a move to Milan.

The 18-year-old has officially joined the Merengues from Fenerbahce, signing a six-year contract, Real Madrid confirmed with an official website on Thursday.

It’s a permanent €20m deal plus potential €10m add-ons and a 20% sell-on clause.

Multiple reports in Italy had claimed Milan scouted Guler over the last few months, but the Rossoneri will now look elsewhere for attacking reinforcements. The Rossoneri had never been in advanced talks to sign the 18-year-old who has joined the Merengues after scoring seven goals in 32 appearances in Turkey’s top flight.

Milan are still on the hunt for a new attacking midfielder and a right winger, with Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic on top of their wish list. The Rossoneri have sent an improved offer to sign the USMNT international and are confident of reaching an agreement with the Blues shortly.

  1. Same old story then. Milan are to slow and when they do act they try and offer a Low-ball offer which has no chance of succeeding. It’s pathetic tbh. Moneyball Yeah!! More like Low-ball and sell all our talents to line Cardinale pockets. This guy needs to go. Inter have signed Thuram and Frattesi while we flounder in the dark. It’s really distressing as a Milan fan.
