Milan have officially loaned goalkeeper Gabriel Vasconcelos Ferreira to Serie B side Empoli.
The Brazilian had slipped down the pecking order to become fourth choice at San Siro behind Gianluigi Donnarumma, Antonio Donnarumma and Marco Storari.
Despite that, Gabriel was given the Number 1 Rossoneri jersey this season.
Empoli announced this evening that a deal had been struck to sign Gabriel to the end of the season.
There does not appear to be an option to buy for the 25-year-old.
