Beppe Marotta is free to become Inter’s new CEO after officially terminating his contract with Juventus.
A statement on Juve’s official website read ties between them and Marotta, as well as fellow director Aldo Mazzia, had been ‘severed’.
Furthermore, the 61-year-old will receive €361,775 in compensation from the Bianconeri, with Mazzia pocketing €278,000.
The former Sampdoria executive has been heavily linked with leading Inter’s new-look board alongside Steven Zhang.
