Ruslan Malinovskyi is back in Serie A, having officially joined Genoa on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
The Ukraine international has returned to the Peninsula eight months after his move to France from Atalanta.
Genoa confirmed his signing on Saturday afternoon, hours before their 2023-24 Serie A debut against Fiorentina.
Il Grifone confirmed Malinovskyi has moved to Marassi on a one-year loan with an option to buy.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Genoa can make the midfielder’s move permanent for €10m in 2024.
Malinovskyi, 30, has 23 and 24 assists in 115 Serie A games.
