Atalanta defender Matteo Lovato has joined Cagliari on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old signed with La Dea from Hellas Verona in the summer but has only played seven games under Gian Piero Gasperini this term.
The Nerazzurri have loaned him out to Serie A strugglers Cagliari until the end of the campaign.
“Atalanta B.C. announces that footballer Matteo Lovato has joined Cagliari on loan until the end of the 2021-2022 season,” Atalanta statement read.
Cagliari have confirmed the agreement with Atalanta and the footballer. The deal does not come with an option to buy for the Sardinians.
Walter Mazzarri’s side have collected ten points so far this season, winning just one game from 19.
