Lille winger Jonathan Ikoné has officially joined Fiorentina and he’ll sign the contract in a few days.
The Viola have been working to sign the 23-year-old French forward for a number of weeks now and have finally secured their man, giving coach Vincenzo Italiano a much needed reinforcement upfront.
As announced by Lille earlier today, Ikoné has been cleared to fly to Italy and he’ll officially sign his contract with Fiorentina on January 3, when the Italian transfer market reopens.
The deal has cost Rocco Commisso’s side €15m between the fixed part and various add-ons, and a future resale clause has also been included.
The 23-year-old Ikoné, who joined Lille in the summer of 2018 from Paris Saint-Germain, has made 25 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1420 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided two assists. The player is noted for his strong dribbling and passing.
