Official: Leao and Milik get one-match ban, fines for Juve, Roma and Napoli

Arek Milik and Rafael Leao have been banned for one match, while Juventus were fined €5,000 as one of their staff members ‘disrespected’ the referee following a 2-2 draw with Salernitana.

Juventus are facing consequences after their controversial home draw against Davide Nicola’s side at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

Arek Milik, Juan Cuadrado and Max Allegri saw red and have now been banned for one match. The same goes for Milan star Rafael Leao who received two yellow cards against Sampdoria on Saturday.

Juventus were fined €5,000 as one of their staff members, which had not been included in their matchday list ‘disrespected’ the referee inside the dressing room.

More clubs received financial sanctions, among them Cremonese (€5,000), Atalanta (€3,000), Napoli and Roma (€2,000 each) who saw their fans throw objects on the pitch during their weekend fixtures.

Salernitana defender Federico Fazio, who was also sent off in the final minutes at the Allianz Stadium got a one-match ban and was fined €5,000, the same as Juan Cuadrado.

Jean Daniel Akpa-Akpro (Empoli), Rafael Leao (Milan). Igor (Fiorentina), Milik (Juventus), Ruan Tressoldi (Sassuolo) and Lameck Banda (Lecce) have received a one-match ban, so they’ll miss the last match before the break.

Sampdoria boss Marco Giampaolo will miss the next two matches after insulting the referee in the last match with Milan.

Max Allegri and Marco Baroni (Lecce) will also face suspension in their upcoming Serie A fixtures and the Old Lady’s boss was also fined €15,000.
