Lazio's central defender Simone Mattia has been sold to Lega Pro club Sambenedettese.

The 20-year-old captained the Biancocelesti's Primavera side, but he was not deemed skill enough to cut it among the seniors.

“This is my first experience among professionals after 10 years in the youth teams and three with the Lazio Primavera, which I captained,” said the player, in a statement published on club's official site.
