Lazio have officially signed Matteo Guendouzi from Olympique Marseille, on loan with an option to buy that becomes an obligation if certain sporting conditions are met.
The deal is believed to be worth circa €13m plus another €5m in bonuses and a 10 per cent cut of the future sell-on fee.
He flew in yesterday evening and underwent his medical tests today.
It is believed that Lazio are paying €1m for the one-season loan.
Guendouzi notched up 103 competitive games in the Marseille jersey, scoring 10 goals and providing 19 assists from midfield.
Lazio are in the Champions League this season and were paired in a group with Atletico Madrid, Feyenoord and Celtic.
