Lazio have officially completed the transfer of Croatia international midfielder Toma Basic from Girondins de Bordeaux.
The 24-year-old flew in last night and had his medical today before signing the contract.
It is reported the deal cost circa €7m plus another €1m in performance-related bonuses, tied to Champions League qualification.
The news was also confirmed by Basic, who wished him all the best in the next chapter of his career in the Eternal City.
His contract with Bordeaux was in its final season after he joined from Hajduk Split in 2018 for €3.5m.
Basic scored nine goals in 82 competitive appearances for Bordeaux, while he has two senior caps for Croatia.
