Juventus have officially signed Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal reported to be worth €17m including bonuses after he completed his medical.

The Serbia international flew in early this morning to Turin and had all his various tests before putting pen to paper.

The Lega Serie A website, which has a register of all the contracts deposited with them, confirmed Kostic is now a Juventus player.

West Ham United had also tried to purchase the 29-year-old, but he always had the Bianconeri as his preference.

Because the move was imminent, Kostic did not participate in last night’s UEFA Super Cup, which saw Eintracht beaten 2-0 by Real Madrid in Helsinki.

He helped them win the Europa League last season, contributing seven goals and 15 assists in 43 competitive matches.

Meanwhile, Juventus have agreed to loan full-back Luca Pellegrini to Eintracht Frankfurt and he is expected to have his medical tomorrow.

  1. @Juventus pub team of europe – your not wrong, reports saying juve will be playing 352 – and kostic is ahead of sandro at wing back – absolutely shocking

  2. The season will start in 3-4 days, Juve are still working on the transfer market. There won’t be time to see the new players before the season, points will be lost, Allegri will be responsible for all the errors the board is doing. Same as last season.

  3. With Pogba and Chiesa out, id like to see a 3-4-1-2 tried out, especially if Depay is signed.
