Aleksandar Kolarov has extended his contract with Roma, keeping him at the club until June 2021.
The 34-year-old has ended speculation surrounding his future by committing to the Giallorossi beyond the current season.
“I want to thank the club for this contract extension, it means a great deal to me,” Kolarov told the club’s website. “Even now I see it as another starting point.
“I intend to keep on improving and developing in order to contribute to the growth of this club.”

Since the left-back moved to the Italian capital from Manchester City in 2017, he has played 113 games for Roma and contributed 17 goals so far.
Chief executive Guido Fienga revealed that the club is “delighted” about agreeing on a new deal with the Serbian veteran.
“We are delighted to be able to announce this renewal,” Flenga said. “Aleksandar has always been the consummate professional, both on and off the pitch. With this renewal, we can continue to count on that contribution.”
Roma are currently fourth in Serie A and are preparing to welcome Juventus to the Olimpico on Sunday.
