Sami Khedira has officially joined Herta Berlin from Juventus.

The 2014 Germany World Cup winner terminated his contract with the Old Lady before joining the German club as a free agent.

"Hertha BSC offer me the opportunity to return to the Bundesliga. I am grateful for that and honestly I can’t wait to be on the field in a blue and white jersey," Khedira told the club’s official website.

"I feel very good physically and with the experience I have gained over the past few years I would like to help the team and lead Hertha BSC to more sporting success," he added.

Khedira joined Juventus as a free agent in the summer of 2015. He played 124 games with the Old Lady and missed more than 90 due to injuries.
