Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has been ruled out of Serbia’s games against Russia and Cyprus due to back pain. The Bianconeri’s medical staff will monitor him daily.
Serbia coach Dragan Stojkovic announced at a press conference on Monday that Vlahovic would not be involved in friendly games against Russia and Cyprus due to acute back pain.
Why Vlahovic will miss Serbia games in March
As reported by Sport Mediaset, The Serbia CT said Juventus’ medical staff had treated Vlahovic for the whole week and that the striker will be “more needed” in June. Due to severe back pain, he will not play Serbia’s next two matches in March.
According to Romeo Agresti, Vlahovic will be monitored by the Juventus’ medical staff daily.
Vlahovic was sent off for dissent on Sunday in a Serie A game between Juventus and Genoa at the Allianz Stadium.
Massimiliano Allegri said after the game that the 24-year-old would be fined by the club.
