Juventus have finally announced Kaio Jorge as their new player, completing his transfer from Santos and signing a contract to June 2026.

The 19-year-old Brazilian had his medical over two weeks ago, but had to return to Brazil in order to complete the paperwork.

His contract with Santos had been running down to December 31, 2021, so the Bianconeri were able to tie him down to an agreement before rivals Milan.

Santos then had the choice of either negotiating an exit now or waiting to lose him as a free agent in January.

It is reported the deal was worth €3m plus bonuses, spread out over two instalments.

The Brazilian side should also have circa five per cent of any future transfer fee should Juventus sell Kaio Jorge on to another club.

The forward made his debut for Santos at the age of 16 years and 249 days, and also won the Under-17 World Cup with Brazil in 2019 as top scorer with five goals.
