Forward Gonzalo Higuain has officially signed for Juventus from Napoli in a €90m deal.

Though neither club has yet confirmed the move, the Serie A official website acknowledges that it has received details of the player’s new contract with the Bianconeri, deposited at Lega Calcio headquarters this morning by Old Lady officials.

The 28-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract worth €8m a season.

Higuain joined Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013, winning the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa during his time in Campania.

He scored 71 goals in 94 League starts for the club, including 36 last season.
